What are the 3 main roles you are involved in at Focus Micro Systems

The 3 main roles I am involved is first line customer support, assisting with remote installation of RENT+, and adding new users or updating current user information.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
I enjoy going to the gym after work and the obvious T.V watching in the evening. On the weekends I like to attend my local farm shoots or go out with friends in the evening.

What do you like the most about working at Focus Micro Systems?
I thoroughly enjoy working in a relaxed team that values each other. It is also amazing to see that they value training employees to the best standard possible and put in the time to help each other.

What’s your background?
I come from a farming orientated family, however my Dad is the one who got me into technology & software. I self taught the beginning of Python and HTML code, and if I have any spare time, I like to build or add to code.

What’s your favourite film?
My favourite film, ever since I was a young kid, has always been Cool Runnings. A film about A Jamiacan Bobsled Team.

How do you start your day?
I tend to start my day by rolling out of bed at the last minute and grab my meal prep on the way out of the door. Unfortunately there is not much routine to my mornings.

What’s one thing that surprised you about working at Focus Micro Systems?
The one thing that surprised me was how approachable the team is and how accommodating they are to new employees and how they give the time to teach.
